Merla Estelle Charne 

Merla Estelle Charne (nee Feldstein) died Sept. 12, 2021, at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Irvin B. Charne. Cherished mother of Jim (Laurie Hutzler) Charne and the late David (Lisa Dubrow) Charne. Loving grandmother of Madeline Blaire Charne. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Graveside funeral service held Sept. 13 at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery, Milwaukee. Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Temple Menorah or the Jewish Home and Care Center. 

Karen Pearson 

It is with deep sadness that we share the news with you of the passing of the precious soul of Karen Pearson who died on Sept. 18, 2021, at the age of 72. She lived life with strength and determination. She gave selflessly as she devoted her love and support to her husband, Larry, and their sons, Jonathan (Vivien) and Benjamin (Meagan). She is survived by her sister Robin (Michael) Shane, nephews, nieces and extended family members. A graveside service was held on Sunday, Sept. 19, at Spring Hill Cemetery. Rabbi Noah Chertkoff officiated. Blane Goodman Funeral Service assisted the family. Memorial contributions to Congregation Shalom or the charity of your choice appreciated. 

Sharon Lee Robins 

Sharon Lee Robins (nee Duckler) died Sept. 21, 2021, at the age of 79. Loving mother of David (Stephanie King) Robins. Dear sister of Linda (the late Lance) Andrae and aunt of Christopher Andrae, Beth (Gregg) Langenfeld and Scott Andrae.  Further survived by 6 great-nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. 

Graveside funeral service was held at Spring Hill Cemetery, Milwaukee. Rabbi Steve Adams officiated.  Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family.  Memorial contributions to a cancer related charity appreciated. 

Asher M. Sharon 

Asher M. Sharon died Sept. 1, 2021, at the age of 58. Beloved husband of Lesley Boaz. Loving father of Lahav Sharon. Dear brother of the late Piki Lubinsky and uncle of Noa Handel. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Graveside services held September 2nd at Agudas Achim Cemetery, Cudahy. Rabbi Mendel Shmotkin officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial contributions to Latet-Israel or Chabad of Glendale appreciated. 

Karie Silberman 

Karie Silberman (nee Bornstein) died on Sept. 15, 2021, at the age of 74.   

Beloved daughter of Della (the late Gerald) Bornstein.  Loving mother of Tracy Feffer, David Silberman and Josh Silberman.  Proud grandmother of Jordan and Brandon Feffer.  Dear sister of Ron (Barbara) Bornstein.  Further survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.   

Private graveside services were held at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery on Sept. 17, 2021. Rabbi Ron Shapiro officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial contributions to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society appreciated. 

Lazar Smilovici  

Lazar Smilovici (Sabba Eliezar) died on Erev Rosh Hashana, Sept. 6th, 2021, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of the late Beatrice Smilovici (nee Barnett). Loving father of Sara and Bennett Karan, Varda and Aryeh Kushmaro. Cherished grandfather of Phillip Kushmaro; Bitzalel, Simcha, Akiva, Rafi, Gabriel, and Elisha Karan. Proud great-grandfather of 17. Further survived by other relatives and friends. A graveside service was held  Sept. 9, 2021, at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery, Milwaukee.  Rabbi Wes Kalmar officiated.  Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family.  Memorial contributions to the charity of your choice appreciated. 

Lyubov Beyder Tsilova 

Lyubov Beyder Tsilova (Nee Beyder) died Sept. 6, 2021, at the age of 75.  Beloved wife of the late Leonid Tsilov. Cherished mother of Maksim Tsilov. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. Graveside service held on Sept. 9 at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery, Milwaukee. Rabbi Yaakov Elman officiated. David Ephraim Wooll 

David Ephraim Wooll died peacefully on Sept. 7, 2021, at the age of 94. Born in Edmonton, Canada, David went on to serve in both the Canadian and British Armies as well as the Merchant Marines during World War II. David also served in the Israeli army during the Israeli war for independence. David will be remembered for his resilience, sense of humor, and unconditional love for his family. He will be dearly missed by his son Stuart Wooll, grandchildren Seth (Allison) Wooll, Blaire (Michael) Beyer, and Lauren Wooll, and great-granddaughter Madeline Wooll, along with many other dear relatives and friends. Blane Goodman Funeral Service assisted the family.
