Amy Ferrante-Gollwitzer will exit kosher food business

Amy Ferrante-Gollwitzer has decided to focus her energies solely on her restaurant and catering in Mequon and will exit the certified kosher food business at the end of May, according to a statement from the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.

Ferrante-Gollwitzer owns and operates Ferrante’s Restaurant and Signature Catering, 10404 N. Port Washington Road, Mequon.

Ferrante-Gollwitzer has been responsible for the kosher food at the JCC’s CAFA B DATA, at the Hy & Richard Smith JCC Water Park, and JCC onsite food services, as well as kosher catering.

“As a family organization, we commend Amy as she makes this personal choice to pursue more balance, more time, and more laughter with her husband, children, and grandchildren,” said Mark Shapiro, president and CEO of the JCC. “Amy has committed to continuing weekly curbside service at CAFA B DATA, and scheduled kosher catering services, through Tuesday, May 25th.

“We look forward to sharing more about our next steps in the months ahead; in the meantime, you might find us brainstorming over a piping hot pizza at Ferrante’s on Port Washington Road.”
