Jewish National Fund to host virtual Israel water tours

The Jewish National Fund is hosting “Virtual Water” tours that have been scheduled for this month, February and March

“Out of necessity, Israel has been a pioneer and has become a leader in water management,” said spokesman Rich Hacker. Jewish National Fund is sponsoring “Israel H2O: A Virtual Tour of Israel’s Water Solutions,” with a fee of $100 per Zoom seat.

Tours are planned for Jan. 4-7, Feb8-11, and March 15-18. The four-day tours are 2 hours per day, 11 a.m., on Monday through Thursday. From the comfort of your home or office, you can meet and interact with the innovators, researchers, business leaders, and government officials who are on the cutting-edge of Israeli water management, according to JNF.

This is a national program, though there has been collaboration between Israel and Milwaukee in the past on water. Milwaukee is home to the Global Water Center, in the Third Ward, and the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee School of Freshwater Sciences.
