Become a friend of the Chronicle!

Dear Friend,

Interest in the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle is greater than ever, but so are our needs for donations from readers like you.

Editor Rob Golub has received ten awards for excellence in journalism from the Milwaukee Press Club, going up against large mainstream publications. We’ve got a lot to be proud of and we want to continue and build on our work. Readers like you who become Friends of the Chronicle help us continue to deliver stories and information to your home that you simply cannot find anywhere else:

  • News on our difficult times, like Jewish activism for justice, kosher food deliveries and a teenager making masks for others
  • Critical news related to the disturbing rise in intolerance and antisemitism, and efforts to improve the climate
  • Stories about our deep connections with the State of Israel

We seek to be a community cheerleader, helping to build Jewish community:

  • Opportunities to connect with the Jewish community through articles prior to key events, whether in-person or virtual
  • Stories on organizations that offer connecting points for local
  • Opportunities to help others and get help during challenging times

Friends of the Chronicle help us produce and distribute the print edition of our newspaper to 8,600 Jewish households across the state every month. You help us complement our monthly print edition with Facebook, Twitter and our website (JewishChronicle.org) that reach thousands. Most important, you make it possible to offer all of this as a free service to the community.

We need your help, now more than ever. Challenging times have increased the demand for news reported responsibly – on Israel, on COVID-19 and on our community. We’re working hard to meet those challenges, and we will greatly appreciate your support. Please fill out the  donor envelope arriving with your Chronicle and give as generously as you can. Or, give online now at JewishChronicle.org/Give.

Our newspaper was cited by more than 80% of survey respondents as the most important source for local Jewish events and opportunities. Whether you are looking for Jewish summer camps or your son’s bar mitzvah announcement, the Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle is here for you. Please join your friends and neighbors and give us your generous support.

Sincerely,

Moshe Katz, Board Chair
