Chagall’s Le Cirque
The Opening Preview of Chagall’s Le Cirque will be June 13 from 7-9 p.m. Be part of a rare opportunity to experience Marc Chagall’s Le Cirque portfolio through the eyes of his granddaughter, Bella Meyer. She will present on the portfolio and share memories and insights about growing up with her renowned grandfather, one of the most influential artists of the 20th century. Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid extends a special welcome to the LGBTQ Jewish community for Pride Shabbat during a Shabbat morning service on June 15, beginning at 9 a.m. They will include prayers on the LGBTQ experience and ask God’s blessing on all of God’s children. Big Top Chagall Shebang
Join Jewish Museum Milwaukee and the Young Leadership Division of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation for family-friendly experiences exploring Chagall’s Le Cirque at the Big Top Chagall Shebang on June 23 from 1-4 p.m. Bring your ‘greatest showman’ for a day celebrating all things circus, with activities for carnies of all ages, including lessons in juggling, hula hooping and circus-inspired dance. Then get twisted with some balloon twisting, cirque makeup and a make-your-own-circus print workshop. The day will be complete with circus snacks like Cracker Jacks, animal cookies and circus peanuts. Friendship House Fellowship
A support group for Jewish men and women in recovery from addiction to alcohol or other substances.
