Wisconsin firms can visit Israel

Wisconsin businesses will have the chance to spend one week in Tel Aviv to establish or expand their global reach.

From Oct. 26 – Nov. 3, businesses can build international relationships in Tel Aviv. During this time, participants will engage in Israeli culture and have meetings with potential partners in the market. Each participant will also receive an Israel market assessment specific to their company.

The trip is sponsored by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation.

“One of the reasons WEDC selected Israel for this trip is because we have complementary strengths in the water technology industry. Israel is strong in desalination technology, while Wisconsin is a leader in fresh water technology, so we see a real potential for collaboration in this sector,” Katy Sinnott, vice president of WEDC said in a statement.

Sinhott added that Israel’s mature economy offers numerous opportunities for U.S.-Israel commercial partnerships. “Israel has many innovative startup companies that are looking to expand into North America, and this trip will provide us with the opportunity to take a strong case about why they should consider Wisconsin,” Sinhott said.

To register for this trip, visit InWisconsin.com and select “Upcoming Trade Ventures.” The Israel trip cost is $3,200 for the first participant from a Wisconsin exporter of goods or services and $3,300 for each additional participant from the same company. The registration deadline is Sept. 22.
