Fund is in memory of Tobi Friesler

MEQUON – A fund in memory of Tobi Friesler, called Tobi’s Fund, is for children or adults with special needs, according to Dinie Rapoport of The Joseph and Rebecca Peltz Center for Jewish Life in Mequon.

Tobi’s Fund is to assist local youth with special needs, so they can enjoy the kind of enriching Jewish experiences that Tobi so dearly treasured, according to the Peltz Center, which is affiliated with Chabad-Lubavitch of Wisconsin.

Jewish Milwaukee-area families will be able to request financial support from Tobi’s Fund for family members ages 5 to 35 with special needs. The fund is seeking support.

Tobi had late-onset Tay Sachs, a rare disease that robbed her of her use of her body. More information is available at TobisFund.org or 414-403-9775.
