In light of recent events in San Bernardino, California, the Wisconsin Department of Justice is encouraging people to remind family, friends, audiences and colleagues about the “See Something, Say Something” resource WiWATCH at Milwaukee.gov/WiWatch, according to a news release.
The Wisconsin Statewide Information Center is operated by the Wisconsin Department of Justice. It is one of two fusion centers in Wisconsin where local, state and tribal governments gather, process, analyze and share information and intelligence relating to all crimes and all hazards, according to the Thursday. The WiWATCH site offers more information on the role of fusion centers, and also has information including what exactly is suspicious behavior and provides various methods to report suspicious activity online or by phone.
