On May 31, a new Torah scroll was completed and carried to The Shul in Bayside. The scroll was sponsored by the family of Shaindy and Rabbi Avremi Schapiro in memory of Rabbi Levi Yitzchok Schapiro. Part of Brown Deer Road was blocked off to allow the procession to take place. Photo by Leon Cohen.
