Congregation Emanu-El of Waukesha will hold a “beach service” to welcome the Sabbath on Friday, July 24, 7 p.m.
Participants can bring lawn chairs to a location on the shore of Lake Nagawicka. The service will be held rain or shine, with plans to move indoors if necessary. The synagogue’s 2015-16 board of trustees will be installed as well.
