The seventh grade at the Milwaukee Jewish Day School spent May 7-8 in symbolic solidarity with impoverished children in Africa as part of their work for Voice of the Children. During this “(Hard) Day in the Life” event, the students walked many miles while carrying what they need for a day or survival and received pledges for donations for every hour in which they maintained this lifestyle.
