The Levy Summer Series of six Jewish educational events sponsored by Madison’s Jewish Social Services is open for registration, according to the May issue of the Madison Jewish News.
Two programs will take place in June. On Tuesday, June 9, Danny Siegel, founder of the Ziv Tzedakah Fund, will discuss how “There’s No Such Thing as a Small Mitzvah.”
On Wednesday, June 24, Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern, professor of Jewish history at Northwestern University, will speak about “The Golden Age Shtetl.”
All the programs will take place at the Nakoma Golf Club, 4145 Country Club Rd., Madison, 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Cost per event is $14.
Of the remaining four programs, two will take place in July, two in August. Lunch will be served at all events.
