Israeli artists to visit Madison, Milwaukee

Two artists from the Sovev Kinneret (Around Lake Kinneret) Partnership2Gether region in Israel will visit partnership cities Madison and Milwaukee to do art projects with children and adults.

In Milwaukee, they will be working between July 1-9 at the Albert & Ann Deshur Rainbow Day Camp.

Assia Aprik has lived in the U.S. and is now a resident of a kibbutz in the region. She paints and makes mosaics with broken crockery.

Irene Golani was born in Argentina and lives in Kibbutz Bet Zera. She studied sculpture and painting at the Margolshinsky Art School in Tel Aviv.

A special event involving making art with adults will be organized at a later date.
