Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid Sisterhood will hold its annual Torah Fund event on Sunday, April 19, noon, at the synagogue, 6880 N. Green Bay Ave.
Anita Bensman will be honored for her years of service to the organization.
Torah Fund contributions help the financial aid programs, residence halls and libraries at the Jewish Theological Seminary (New York City), Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (Los Angeles) and Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem).
The cost of the luncheon is $20 which must be received by April 6. Late reservations will be $25 and must be received no later than April 13.
