The Men’s Club of Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid has yellow Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Memorial Day) memorial candles available for community distribution.
In the Conservative movement, the Federation of Jewish Men’s Clubs instituted in 1981 its “Yellow Candle” project for Yom HaShoah, which this year falls on April 15-16.
In an email to The Chronicle, CBINT Yom HaShoah chair Rodney Ugent invited the community to “Join others nationwide” to light “1,000,000 candles” on April 15.
