HERC works with S.A.V.E.

Baily Wakefield, now a freshman at Arrowhead Union High School in Hartland, is a member of S.A.V.E., Survivor and Veterans Experiences, a group of five students devoted to interviewing World War II veterans and Holocaust survivors. This past Jan. 30, on behalf of S.A.V.E., Wakefield brought to the eighth grade of her previous school, Swallow Elementary, Sara Sillars, shown above. Sillars is a Holocaust educator with the Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Photo provided by Stacey Wakefield.
