“Yamim 2015: Journey of a People” is a combined effort of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s Israel Center and the Nathan & Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center, and the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center.
Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) commemoration takes place Sunday, April 19, 3 p.m., with a teen program at 1 p.m.
Yom HaZikaron (Israel’s Day of Remembrance) ceremony takes place at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 22.
Yom HaAtzmaut (Israel’s Independence Day) activities on April 26 starts with a Walk for Israel at 1:30 p.m., followed by activities from 3:30-6 p.m.
All of these are free and open to the public, and will take place at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center, 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd.
