JFS, Chai Point form new services partnership

Jewish Family Services, Inc., has announced a partnership with Chai Point Senior Living to offer onsite mental health services to their independent and assisted living residents and family members.

The satellite mental health clinic is the result of findings from the Task Force on the Aging Population, a group formed by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.

The task force is made up of partner agencies of the MJF who work with older adults. It identified a need to increase accessibility for seniors to existing programming and services in the community. One way to address this need is by bringing services to locations where seniors live.

The Chai Point clinic is the fourth location in the Milwaukee area for JFS counseling services. JFS also operates a state-certified outpatient clinic in its main office at 1300 N. Jackson Street in downtown Milwaukee, and satellite offices at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale and in Bradley Crossing Supportive Housing Community in Brown Deer.
