The winter session of Kids In The Middle (KITM) begins on Monday, Feb. 2, 6 p.m., at Jewish Family Services, 1300 N. Jackson St., Milwaukee.
The seven-week program is free of charge and open to the entire community, regardless of faith, ethnicity, income or lifestyle.
KITM specializes in group and individual counseling for youth (ages 5-16) who are coping with family transitions, such as separation or divorce, or for children whose parents never married.
Participants will use discussion, therapeutic games, books, art and play therapy to help them learn to identify, understand and appropriately express their feelings.
For more information, visit JFSMilw.org. To schedule an interview or consultation, contact the KITM intake coordinator at 414-225-1363. JFS is a licensed provider of the program.
