The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center will present Howie Mandel as the headline performer for “Laugh It Up Milwaukee 2015,” the fourth annual fundraiser that celebrates community partnership.
Mandel is an internationally famous comedian and a current judge on “America’s Got Talent.” He will take the stage at the Riverside Theater, 116 W. Wisconsin Ave., Milwaukee, on Saturday, Jan. 31. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show starting at 8 p.m.
The proceeds will go to support the programs of the JCC and to the “Laugh It Up Milwaukee 2015” partner beneficiary, the Hunger Task Force.
Past beneficiaries and partner agencies of Laugh It Up Milwaukee include Gilda’s Club (2012), Children’s Hospital of Southeastern Wisconsin (2013) and the MACC Fund (2014). Past featured performers were Seth Meyers, Susie Essman & Richard Lewis, and Martin Short.
The performances have raised more than $450,000 for community programs that combat cancer, bullying and now hunger.
