Mitzvah Day at Deerwood Crossing

Religious school students and parents from Congregation Sinai volunteered time to read books and make greeting cards with seniors at Deerwood Crossing Senior Residences in Brown Deer on Oct. 19. The outing was part of a school-wide Mitzvah Day where families were offered opportunities to engage in acts of g’milut chasadim (kindness) at one of four different locations in the community.
