Lubavitch to present class on happiness

          Lubavitch of Wisconsin’s Jewish Learning Institute will offer a six-session course on “How Happiness Thinks: Jewish Perspectives on Positive Psychology” beginning Monday, Nov. 3, 7:30 p.m., at The Shul Bayside, 8825 N. Lake Dr.

          Rabbi Mendel Shmotkin will conduct the sessions. In a press release, Shmotkin said, “The course focuses on ways to overcome the challenges that get in the way of our happiness, including stress, grief and self-concept. But we’re also going to discuss techniques to boost our happiness such as humility, gratitude and meaningful living.”

          The release also says that the course “is designed to appear to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge.”
