Scholar and activist featured

Michael Berenbaum, Ph.D., was the featured speaker at the opening reception on Sept. 10 for the Jewish Museum Milwaukee’s “Stitching History from the Holocaust” exhibit. He also spoke the following day in the Helfaer Community Services Building on “9/11 and the World’s Evil,” as shown here. Berenbaum is professor of Jewish studies at the American Jewish University in Los Angeles. He formerly was executive editor of the Encyclopedia Judaica second edition and director of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum’s Holocaust Research Institute. Photo by Leon Cohen.
