Finjan sukkah — “Finjan” is a type of Mideastern coffeepot and was the name of a coffeehouse for Jewish teens in Milwaukee. The program ran from 1969 to 1975. It operated in a house on North Oakland Avenue from 1969-71, then a house on North Port Washington Road from 1972-75. This undated photo from the Port Washington Road-period shows a group posing in a just completed sukkah. From left: Finjan director Jon Buchler, Howard Guten, Mike Gilbert and David Keyes, with Chris Woodring just visible behind Gilbert. Photo from Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle files.
