Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah will be hosting a “Sukkah Soiree Under the Stars” on Monday, Oct. 13, 8:30 p.m., at the synagogue, 6717 N. Green Bay Ave.
The event will be a Simchat Beit HaShoeiva, a party held in the sukkah to commemorate the celebrations that took place in the Temple at the water-drawing ceremony.
The event will include spirits and sweets, singing, and a symposium with Rabbi Wes Kalmar on “Simcha: The Role of Joy in Life.”
