To help celebrate the 75th anniversary of Madison’s Temple Beth El, Dan Nichols & Eighteen will perform at Full Compass, 9770 Silicon Prairie Pkwy, Madison, on Saturday, Aug. 2, with doors opening at 7 p.m.
Nichols is a “Jewish camp kid” from Indiana who spent every summer at the Union for Reform Judaism’s Goldman Union Camp Institute. That is where he found his inspiration as a song leader and fell in love with the sound of 350 voices in the camp dining hall.
Dan Nichols & Eighteen have released eight albums. They perform close to 200 concerts each year all across the world. They have performed on Masada for Israel’s 60th birthday and at conferences and conventions for nearly every Jewish movement.
Tickets are $10 in advance ($15 at the door) and may be purchased at TempleBethElMadison.org/75th/#dannichols.
