Memento of World War I — The U.S. government created abridged Jewish prayer books for use of members of the armed services during World War I. This copy belonged to Milwaukeean Solomon Gordon, who served in the 340th Michigan Infantry. It was donated to the Jewish Museum Milwaukee by Betty Weitzen. Photo by Leon Cohen.
