Eckhardt performs for Memphis shul

          Former Milwaukeean Ilan Eckhardt performed at the Jerusalem Day Picnic and Concert sponsored by Anshei Sphard-Beth El Emeth Congregation and held in Memphis on May 27, according to The Hebrew Watchman Jewish newspaper.

          Eckhardt, 20, is a graduate of the Memphis-based Cooper Yeshiva High School for Boys. He moved to Israel and last autumn was featured on the Israeli television show “Kokhav Haba” (“Coming Star”). (See November 2013 Chronicle.)
