Become a Friend of The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle

Dear Friend,

“Kill the Jews keep Algoma clean.” These words were painted on one of several signs with anti-Semitic slurs found in a Wisconsin town last fall.

Without The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle, coverage of this incident would be limited to brief reports in local secular media outlets. The Chronicle gave you in-depth coverage that included interviews with local and national experts on anti-Semitism including a representative of the ADL who said, “Something … so over-the-top, intimidating and hateful has not been seen in a long time.”

Since 1921, Wisconsin has relied on The Chronicle to deliver a local Jewish perspective. According to the most recent Jewish community study of greater Milwaukee, our newspaper was cited by more than 80% of respondents as the most important source for local Jewish events and opportunities.

The Chronicle is published as a service to our community by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Yet without the additional support of donors like you, we could not continue to deliver the paper for free to thousands of Jewish-identified households across the state of Wisconsin.

We need your help. Please click on “Become a Friend of The Chronicle.”

Whether you are looking for great recipes in our holiday magazines, a Jewish perspective on this year’s elections or your grandson’s bar mitzvah announcement, The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle is here for you. Please join your friends and neighbors and give us your generous support.

Sincerely,

Leon Cohen, Editor
The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle
