Three of Milwaukee’s innovative change-makers will discuss “Civil Rights at 50: Looking Back, Looking Ahead” at the annual meeting of the Jewish Community Relations Council of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 7-8:30 p.m., at the Rubenstein Pavilion, 1410 N. Prospect Ave. Free parking will be available at the Jewish Home and Care Center.
Guest speakers will be: Marcus White, vice president of engagement at Greater Milwaukee Foundation; Reggie Moore, founder and executive director at Center for Youth Engagement; and Michelle Bria, Ph.D., chief executive officer of Journey House.
The JCRC will also honor the synagogues and organizations that serve on the JCRC board, and elect its officers and at-large board members.
Event co-chairs are Anneliese Dickman and Phil Schuman. Cost is $36 and includes a dessert and wine reception; dietary laws observed.
