Local Lubavitch to present class on Rebbe’s teachings

          This month, Lubavitch of Wisconsin will presentParadigm Shift: Transformational Life Teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe,” a six-session course by the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.

          The course, which begins Monday, May 12, will be offered as part of a series of local activities in the Milwaukee area marking 20 years since the passing of Lubavitcher Rebbe Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson.

          The course will explore Schneerson’s philosophy and outlook. It isthe product of a collaboration of more than two dozen experts on his teachings.

          Rabbi Mendel Shmotkin will lead sessions on Mondays from noon-1:30 p.m. at Lubavitch House, 3109 N Lake Dr., and from 7:30-9 p.m. at The Shul Bayside, 8825 N Lake Dr.

          Rabbi Moshe Rapoport will lead the course on Tuesdays at the Peltz Center for Jewish Life, 3322 W Mequon Rd., Mequon.

          Like all JLI programs, “Paradigm Shift” is designed to appeal to people at all levels of Jewish knowledge, including those without any prior experience or background in Jewish learning. All JLI courses are open to the public.
