Milwaukee artist Barbara Kohl-Spiro displayed artworks through April at the Monroe Arts Center in the Wisconsin city by that name.
The exhibit was titled “Babylon in Heart and Mind” and ran March 21-May 2. It featured works that in photographs look like tapestries but are actually painted on paper and inspired by fabric creations from many countries, including Israel, according to the museum’s website.
