‘Jews Who Rock’ is next museum exhibit

The Jewish Museum Milwaukee’s next exhibition will be “Jews Who Rock: A Musical History Tour.”

Beginning Sunday, April 27, and running through Aug. 10, the exhibit will examine the Jewish influences on modern American popular music from the birth of rock in the 1950s.

It will present photographs and biographical panels representing a sampling of the countless singers, songwriters, instrumental musicians, concert promoters and record company executives influential in front and behind the scenes.

Gallery hours are Monday-Thursday 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m., and Sunday noon-4 p.m. To plan your visit and view special events visit www.jewishmuseummilwaukee.org.
