Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid Sisterhood will hold its annual Torah Fund Event on Sunday, May 4. This year it will be a luncheon starting at noon at the synagogue, 6880 North Green Bay Ave., Glendale.
The honorees will be Merry Atinsky and Bobbie Fishman for their years of dedicated service to the CBINT Sisterhood.
Torah Fund contributions help provide financial aid, residence halls and the libraries at the Jewish Theological Seminary (N.Y.), the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies (L.A.) and the Schechter Institute of Jewish Studies (Jerusalem).
