Richard Freund is a rabbi, an archeologist and the director of the Maurice Greenberg Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Hartford.
He will be coming to Wisconsin on Sunday, March 9, to speak about “How is Archeology Changing Jewish and Catholic Identity?”
The lecture will take place at 2 p.m. at the Sacred Heart School of Theology, 7335 S. Highway 100, Franklin. Admission is free, but advance registration by March 5 is required.

Freund has directed six archaeological projects in Israel and three in Europe. He has written six books on archaeology and two on Jewish ethics.
