Menorah topics: Purim, theater, medications

          Temple Menorah will hold its Purim party on Sunday, March 9 (a week before the holiday’s date), 11 a.m.-2 p.m., at the synagogue, 9363 N. 76th St.

          Proceeds will support the Temple Menorah Youth Group. The raffles will benefit the Ezra Fund, which helps provide Passover food to Jewish families in need.

          Orders should be placed by March 5 by sending a check to the synagogue.

          The synagogue will also hold a theater party on Thursday, March 27, to see the Andrew Lloyd Webber/Tim Rice musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat.”

          A deli dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m., at the synagogue. The performance will be at the Sunset Playhouse Community Theatre.

          Dinner and ticket are $24 per person. Seats are limited, and reservations are necessary.

          The synagogue’s lifelong learning program will present pharmacist Lori Pachefsky on Sunday, March 23, 10 a.m. Her topic will be “Medications: Making Informed Decisions.”

          A continental breakfast will be served by the synagogue’s Sisterhood and Men’s Club. Admission is free.
