Shelley Israel of Milwaukee received the Enid and Harold Boxer Memorial Award and was inducted into the Ben Zakkai Honor Society at the society’s national scholarship dinner, held Jan. 26 in New York City.
The society is the alumni hall of fame for NCSY, the international youth movement of the Orthodox Union. Shelley Israel has been a NCSY chapter adviser in Milwaukee for more than two decades.
