Madison’s only Jewish a cappella (unaccompanied by instruments) singing group, Jewop, will perform its “Winter Showcase” concert on Sunday, Dec. 8, 7:30 p.m., at Morphy Hall in the University of Wisconsin-Madison Humanities Building, 455 N. Park St.
According to the group’s Facebook page, Jewop devotes itself to singing “music that has any Jewish influences,” from traditional folksongs to works by such modern Jewish composers as Paul Simon and Matisyahu.
Admission is free. For more information, email uwmadisonjewop@gmail.com.
