Sharsheret — a national not-for-profit organization supporting young women and their families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast cancer and ovarian cancer — has recognized Milwaukee’s Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center and Jewish Family Services as Sharsheret Supports Partners of Excellence.
The program assists communities in developing and maintaining local, free breast cancer and ovarian cancer programs and support groups. It combines local Milwaukee cancer resources with Sharsheret’s national expertise and resource materials to enhance the support available to women and families facing cancer.
As Partners of Excellence, the JCC and JFS will receive financial support and national recognition for their important work.
