Carmi Gillon is a former head of the Shin Bet, Israel’s security service, and was one of a group of them featured in the controversial documentary film “The Gatekeepers.”
He will be speaking in the Milwaukee area on Thursday, Nov. 7, 6-7:30 p.m., at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, 2020 W. Brown Deer Rd. The topic will be “The Necessity of Peace.”
The event is sponsored by J Street Milwaukee, the local chapter of the national organization that calls itself “the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans committed to fighting for the future of Israel as the democratic homeland of the Jewish people.”
