Tour of Jewish businesses

Lorraine Hoffmann talks about the history of Hoffco Shoe Polish Company (Harri Hoffmann Co.) to the participants in a bus tour of Milwaukee Jewish businesses with historian John Gurda on Sept. 16. The excursion was organized by the Jewish Museum Milwaukee in connection with its exhibit “From Pushcarts to Professionals: The Evolution of Jewish Business in Milwaukee.” It also included stops at the Pfister, Mitchell Street Men’s Wear and Miller Bakery.
