David Wallach, the High Holidays cantor at Mount Sinai Congregation in Wausau, has left to serve a holiday pulpit in Long Island, N.Y., according the September synagogue bulletin.
Wallach had sung with the congregation for 20 years. The bulletin stated that this year, he will finish cantorial and education studies at the Jewish Theological Seminary in New York City.
