The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center is expanding its arts and ideas offerings this fall with the introduction of a new “Tapestry” family of activities and events.
The Tapestry program will offer cultural activities including theater, visual arts, music, literature, culinary arts and more, according to Mona Cohen, JCC Director of Adult Programs and Community Services.
The first “strands” of the program will be introduced in October with the free new series “Exploring Jewish Genius.”
This series begins with a program on physicist Albert Einstein on Sunday, Oct. 27, presented by Leonard Parker, physics professor emeritus of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Future Tapestry activities include new art classes, concerts, guest authors, tours of local art collector’s homes, cultural trips to museums and theater and much more.
