Final aliyah from Ethiopia

As this issue of The Wisconsin Jewish Chronicle went to press, the last remaining group of Ethiopian Jews was being flown to Israel. Milwaukee Jewish Federation campaign chair Andrea Schneider — with her son Josh Schneider, niece Dani Kupfer and sister Nancy Strichman — participated in the Jewish Federations of North America’s Completing the Journey mission to Ethiopia this past June and took this photo of one of the last morning worship services to be held in this community in Ethiopia.
