The 61st season of the Peninsula Music Festival — held every summer in Fish Creek in Door County — will include “A Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch” on Saturday, Aug. 10, 6:30 p.m.
The concert will feature music by Hamlisch and works by composers who influenced him. Hamlisch (1944-2012) was an award-winning composer of music for movies (“The Way We Were”) and musicals (“A Chorus Line”), and the principal pops conductor of many orchestras, including the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets for this concert are $60, $50, $45, $40, $30 and students and children $10. Peninsula Music Festival concerts are held at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek. All seating is reserved.
