ASKT to host webcast on Tisha B’Av

          Anshe Sfard Kehillat Torah will be hosting a webcast on Tisha B’Av, Tuesday, July 16. It will feature Rabbi Dr. Jacob J. Schacter.

          This will take place in the social hall of the synagogue, located at 6717 N Green Bay Ave., starting at 8:30 a.m. and running throughout the day.

          Schacter is professor of Jewish history and Jewish thought and senior scholar at the Center for the Jewish Future at Yeshiva University. He recently completed a book on the teachings of Rabbi Joseph B. Soloveitchik about Tisha B’Av.
