The Maxwell Street Klezmer Band is shown here performing on May 5 at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun in the synagogue’s combined 11th annual “Salute to Song & Spirit” and celebration of Rabbi Marc E. Berkson’s 14th year leading the synagogue. About 450 people attended. Cantor David Barash and the combined choirs of the synagogue and the Milwaukee Jewish Day School also performed.
