“An Evening with Ben Sidran”

About 270 people came to the Jewish Home and Care Center/Chai Point Rubenstein Pavilion May 2 to hear Madison-based jazz pianist-composer-author Ben Sidran. He gave a lecture-concert based on his 2012 book “There Was a Fire: Jews, Music, and the American Dream.” The event was sponsored by the Milwaukee Jewish Federation, the Sam & Helen Stahl Center for Jewish Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and the Mosse/Weinstein Center for Jewish Studies at UW-Madison.
