“Pictures of History” — An intergenerational program “Pictures of History: An Encounter With Holocaust Survivors” took place on April 7 at the Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center as part of the Milwaukee commemoration of Yom HaShoah, Holocaust Memorial Day. The program began with brief statements from some of the 16 teen facilitators. The approximately 110 participants then divided into eight small groups, each meeting with local Holocaust survivors like Sara Mauer (shown here second from left). Photos by Leon Cohen.
