As part of its closing process, the Wisconsin Society for Jewish Learning, Inc., has donated its historical records to the Wisconsin Historical Society.
The WHS has deposited those materials at the Milwaukee Area Research Center of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Libraries for research and study, according to the April 2013 issue of the UWM Report.
The materials include files of executive director Kathleen Jendusa, materials compiled by the Wisconsin Small Jewish Communities History Project about Jewish communities throughout the state, and the files of various society committees and programs.
The WSJL records are part of the Wisconsin Jewish Archives. Established in 1954, this archive contains more than 170 collections on the history of Jewish individuals, communities, and institutions.
